Son of God and SAVIOR:
1. 1 John 1:7 (esv), 7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
2. 1 John 4:9-14 (esv), 9. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14. 3. John 10:30-33 (esv), 30. I and the Father are one.

The Jews answered him, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you but for blasphemy, because you, being a man, make yourself God.”
JESUS WAS RESURRECTED:
4. Luke 24:6-7 (esv), 6. He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7. ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”
5. John 11:25-26 (esv), 25. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26. and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

JESUS our SHEPARD:

JESUS the HEALER:
19. Luke 7:1-17 (esv), Jesus Heals a Centurion's Servant
1. After he had finished all his sayings in the hearing of the people, he entered Capernaum. 2. Now a centurion had a servant who was sick and at the point of death, who was highly valued by him. 3. When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4. And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, 5. for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.” 6. And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7. Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. 8. For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 9. When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10. And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well.
Jesus Raises a Widow's Son
11. Soon afterward he went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a great crowd went with him. 12. As he drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her. 13. And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” 14. Then he came up and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” 15. And the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him to his mother. 16. Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited his people!” 17. And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

20. Luke 4:40-41 (esv), 40. Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. 41. And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ. (Also John 4:46-54)
21. Mark 1:34 (esv), 34. And he healed many who were sick with various diseases, and cast out many demons. And he would not permit the demons to speak, because they knew him.
JESUS the WORKER OF MIRACLES:
22. John 6:5-14 (esv), 5. Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” 6. He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. 7. Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.” 8. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, 9. “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?” 10. Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. 11. Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. 12. And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.” 13. So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten. 14. When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, “This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”

HE IS TO BE WORSHIPPED:
23. Matthew 2:2 (esv), 2. saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” (Also Matt. 14:32-33)
24. Matthew 2:11 (esv), 11. And going into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
25. John 9:38 (esv), 38. He said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
26. Philippians 2:5-11 (esv), 5. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6. who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7. but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10. so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11. and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
JESUS the TEACHER:
27. Luke 24:27 (esv), 27. And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
28. 2 John 1:9 (esv), 9. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
29. John 7:16 (esv), 16. So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.
30. John 3:2 (esv), 2. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” (Also Matt. 4:23, Matt. 7:28-29.)
JESUS the REWARDER:
31. Romans 2:6-10 (esv), 6. He will render to each one according to his works: 7. to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8. but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. 9. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10. but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek.
32. Hebrews 11:1-6 (esv), By Faith
1. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2. For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3. By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. 4. By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts. And through his faith, though he died, he still speaks. 5. By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God. 6. And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

33. 1 John 5: 10-15 (esv), 10. Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. 11. And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
That You May Know
13. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. 14. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 15. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.
JESUS LIVES IN BELIEVERS:
34. 2 Corinthians 13:5 (esv), 5. Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
35. Galatians 2:20 (esv), 20. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
36. Romans 8: 10-18 (esv), 10. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.
Heirs with Christ
12. So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13. For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15. For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16. The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17. and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Future Glory
18.For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

37. Romans 8: 29 (esv), 29. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
38. 2 Corinthians 3: 16-18 (esv), 16. But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. 17. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
39. 1 John 4: 17 (esv), 17. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

Who is Jesus?
He is all of these things and much more to those who believe. You see, the word says in Romans 10:17, "So then faith comes hearing and hearing by the word of God." And now it's time to make a decision.
Please pray with me now, confessing Christ with your mouth.
Heavenly Father, I pray that you would forgive me of my sins and I forgive all those who have sinned against me. Father I open my heart and invite Jesus into my life, and turn my life over to Him in Love. Fill me with your Spirit, lead and guide me in the path that you would have me to take in Jesus name I pray, amen. |

Now you need to start praying that God will show you a Good church to go to, so be receptive to the leading of your heart, not your mind, and go to church. |
